i know very well dalbavancin and DRTX. i sold may shares since the company has a big problem right now. the insurances don't pay for dalba. the price is also very high, almost like daptomycin. the hospitals don't want to approve dalba on their formulaies until the insurances agree to directly pay for the drug. a physician that i know had an ingection, received the first dose only and the infection cured very fast. his insurance did not pay for the drug though. he could have taken PO zyvox for 7-10 days and the insurance would have saved money.
TTPH is much better in my opinion. it treats very resistant bacteria, has no competition that i know of and will come in both IV and PO forms. all US hospitals will approve immediately on their formularies since we badly need the drug and we only have a very toxic and only in IV form which is Colistin. When Brilacidin from CTIX will be available , in my opinion, most of the antibiotics available will become obsolete.
