Lobbyist ? Nee hoor , gewoon realist. Een electromotor is gewoon veel efficienter dan een een ouderwetse verbrandingsmotor.

Na een moeilijke periode lijkt in het 1e kwartaal van 2024 de kentering ingezet bij Orsted. Ook de koers is aan een voorzichtige klim begonnen.Tycoon schreef: ↑1 november 2023, 10:25 Orsted is het nieuwste slachtoffer met -20% nadat het nogmaals een waardevermindering op zijn US offshore windparken boekte. Orsted volgt hiermee BP en Equinor op. Windenergie in de US blijkt dan toch niet de wonderonvesteting te zijn.
Ze betalen liever de verbrekingsvergoeding dan (verder) aan het nieuwe offshore windpark te bouwen. Net-zero zal voor 2150 i.p.v. 2050 zijn!

Impairment update
On 29 August 2023, Ørsted announced anticipated impairments on its US portfolio of up to DKK 16 billion.
Since the announcement, the US offshore wind projects have experienced further negative developments from adverse impacts relating to supply chains, increased interest rates, and the lack of an OREC (Offshore Renewable Energy Certificate) adjustment on Sunrise Wind. The total impairments recognised in the interim financial report for the first nine months of 2023 amount to DKK 28.4 billion, and the majority of these (DKK 19.9 billion) relate to Ocean Wind 1.
Wat denken jullie hiervan ? Het begin van de weg omhoog ? Of toch nog eerder voorzichtig afwachten ?
